Idylls of the King Part III: Merlin and Vivien

I like that even though Vivien is a villainess, she still points out the hypocrisy that men get away with more than women do. She isn't a flat villain that's just evil to be evil. I also like the interplay in the conversation Vivien and Merlin have throughout the poem. Vivien plays to Merlin's vanity, yet Merlin is patient, seeming to know the whole time of Vivien's plan, and finally seems to get worn down.
