Question of the Day

Question of the Day: How important is a book cover design to whether you would read it?

  1. Very, for new new books or authors I have not read before. A cover catches you attention and makes you want to find out what it is about. Older books I'll give them a break - if they are a classic you usually know what they are about and if they have the standing to be a classic they don't need a fancy cover.

  2. Very important unless i've heard it was a good book before I saw the cover. My book covers "lack" in my opinion. That is my fault though. I am too cheap right now to pay someone to design my covers so I do it myself in photoshop. I am a writer, not a graphic designer. lol

  3. Vital. I won't pick up a book if I don't like the cover... unless someone i trust told me it was good. Covers need to speak to me.
